We Are Era Appoints Stefan Kramer as Chief Transformation Officer and Strengthens "One ERA"

We Are Era, Europe’s leading community economy company, has appointed Stefan Kramer as Chief Transformation Officer (CTO). In this newly created C-level role, he will be responsible for the cross-divisional and cross-country advancement of technology, data, and strategic corporate development. The new role builds on We Are Era’s tech, data, and transformation expertise, which has been developed over many years, and now consolidates these capabilities even more strongly at the European level: Under the “One ERA” guiding principle, he will strengthen collaboration, performance, and scalability across all European locations. In doing so, We Are Era is consistently aligning its organization with the goal of providing brands, broadcasters, NGOs, and talent with the shortest path to every community and subculture.

Kramer has been part of We Are Era since early 2025 and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, overseeing strategic corporate development. In addition, he leads the Tech & Data and Consumer Products & Talent Ventures divisions. In his new role, he will integrate these areas of responsibility even more closely with the business units and act as a central interface between technology, business, and the European markets.

A key focus of his role is the further development of “One ERA”—the shared approach to further standardize systems and collaboration across country and team boundaries and to align the organization even more closely with common goals. In doing so, he is integrating strategic corporate development and operational implementation even more closely and establishing common standards, efficient work processes, and cross-divisional and cross-country growth initiatives in line with “One ERA.”

We Are Era has been making targeted investments in technology, data, and automation for years and, with its specialized teams, ranks among the industry’s pioneers. Under Kramer’s leadership, existing expertise in areas such as Business Transformation & Automation is now being consolidated and scaled even more closely across Europe. The focus is on the further automation of business processes, the responsible use of AI, and the development of scalable workflows. The goal is to make already established solutions available more quickly throughout the entire company, further strengthen data-driven decision-making, and integrate technological innovations even more consistently into everyday work.

Stefan Kramer joined We Are Era from RTL Group in early 2025. There, he most recently served as Head of Strategy & Business Development and was responsible, among other things, for strategic corporate development, group-wide transformation and growth initiatives, and M&A projects. At We Are Era, he initially took on responsibility for Corporate Development and, in recent months, expanded his scope of responsibilities to include Consumer Products & Talent Ventures, Tech & Data, and product development in this segment. In addition, he played a key role in the company’s most recent M&A processes and oversaw the successful acquisition and integration of the agency Social Match and the Benelux creator management firm New Kith.
